We might be a good fit if...
+ You feel 'at home' with my style of communication on this website
+ You are comfortable with a responsive, flexible style of therapy that respects that you are the expert on your own life, accompanied by carefully timed tips to help you deal with situations and reach your goals.
+ You are looking for a therapist who is warm, flexible, human, and open-minded in style, more towards the casual than the formal, and with a sense of humour when appropriate. You are not looking for a highly formal, doctor's clinic type of situation.
We may not be a good fit if...
+ You prefer a very structured form of therapy, with protocols and homework.
+ You are looking for an experience that feels like when a doctor diagnoses you and tells you what to do.
+ You prefer a pre-planned course of action and a pre-planned number of sessions.
+ You are dealing with very complex or acute mental health issues that may be better supported by a clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist. (If you think this may be the case, please contact your GP who will then refer you on to the type of therapist best suited to support you).
